<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a diameter expander for cold shrinkable tube, which easily expands a cold shrinkable tube at site without producing core chips after use, and prevents elongation of the tube ends resulting from raw material deterioration even if the tube is left unused for a long time, while reducing the cost of the cold shrinkable tube. <P>SOLUTION: Each diameter expanding claw is inserted in the tube end and is separated by means of a claw moving means, and then is fixed by means of a claw locking means in this state. Then, an electric wire is inserted into the diameter expanded tube from the end thereof, and each diameter expanding claw is pulled out of the tube end. Thereby, cost of the cold shrinkable tube is reduced, and the diameter of the cold shrinkable tube can be easily expanded at site without producing core chips after use, the tube end may not stretch due to raw material deterioration even if the tube is left unused for a long time. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
