<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fiber laser device with high reliability that can be introduced at low cost. <P>SOLUTION: The fiber laser device includes a laser irradiation unit 20 which emits laser light L and an upstream fiber 31 for guiding the laser light L emitted from the laser irradiation unit 20. A downstream fiber 32 is coupled to the upstream fiber 31 through a fusion portion 5. The fiber laser device also includes an imaging means 10 for detecting laser light L leaking from the fusion portion 5 provided between the upstream fiber 31 and downstream fiber 32 in the case of fault occurrence. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
