PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and safely blast ammunition with a propellant including a warhead having a bursting charge and a propulsion unit having the propellant. SOLUTION: This blasting method includes: a first explosive arrangement process of arranging a first explosive 70 on the outer side of the warhead 11; a second explosive arrangement process of arranging a plurality of explosion bodies 80 including second explosives on the outer side of the propulsion unit 12; a warhead blasting process of blasting the warhead 11 while detonating the bursting charge by detonation of the first explosive 70; and a propulsion unit treatment process of combusting the propulsion unit 12 while deflagrating the propellant by detonation of the second explosives. The first explosive 70 is arranged at a position covering the periphery of the warhead 11 so that a high pressure field is generated around the warhead 11 by detonation of the first explosive to suppress scattering of the detonation energy of the bursting charge to outside. The respective explosion bodies 80 are arranged in positions separated from each other so that scattering of combustion energy of the propellant to outside is allowed to prevent the propellant from leading to detonation.
