PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connection part and a connection method of an electric wire and a terminal capable of connecting the wire and the terminal made of different kinds of metal such as an aluminum wire and a copper terminal, at low cost with stable electric characteristics maintained, through prevention of electrolytic corrosion of an aluminum wire even in case of being capped in water due to dew condensation. SOLUTION: In the connection method of the electric wire and the terminal, an insulation coated part of the wire and a wire conductive part exposed are mounted on one end part of the terminal of a metal different from that of the wire conductive part, a cylindrical substance made of a metal material baser than those of the conductive wire and the terminal is mounted so as to surround a part of the terminal and the exposed wire conductive part, and a part of the terminal, the exposed wire conductive part and the cylindrical substance are mechanically caulked and crimped, each mutually in contact with the other.
