PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To quickly and accurately obtain the character data of characters handwritten on a sheet. SOLUTION: The character data processing system includes: a sorting device 240 for sorting processing to be executed for each of sheets to any of handwriting recognition correction processing for accepting the correction of handwritten recognition result data, stroke recognition correction processing for accepting the correction of stroke recognition result data, and image entry processing for accepting the input of the character data based on the image data of the sheet; and a device 410 for data entry for selecting any processing part of the handwriting recognition correction part, the stroke recognition correction part and the image entry processing part based on the sorting identification data generated by the sorting device, and for making the selected processing part execute the processing.
