PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical laminate that facilitates component assembling operation in manufacture of a surface light emitting device by reducing the number of components, effectively prevents optical loss due to interface reflection by reducing the number of optical interfaces of an optical system as much as possible, and increases luminance of the surface light emitting device. SOLUTION: The optical laminate 2 comprises: a polarizing layer 21, a first light transmissive film 22 in close contact with a top surface of the polarizing layer, and a second light transmissive film 23 in close contact with a rear surface of the polarizing layer.
