PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safe and efficient transportation method by which a plurality of long objects, particularly such as steel tubes, bar tubes, or shape tubes, each having a large weight, are simultaneously transported by a crane. SOLUTION: The method of transporting a plurality of long objects 5 by binding these long objects 5 and lifting them by the crane 1 through at least two ropes 4 includes the steps of placing the plurality of long objects 5 on a mounting place 6 for these long objects 5; putting these ropes 4 into at least two grooves 8 disposed in a direction crossing a length direction of these long objects 5 mounted on the mounting place 6; and hanging these ropes 4 on a hook 3 of the crane 1 through a passage surrounding the circumference of the plurality of long objects 5.
