PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To fix a tip part of a garnish of tapered shape to a window frame. SOLUTION: A garnish mounting structure is composed of: a window frame 20 of a door window W for a vehicle; the garnish 10 having an upper end 12 formed in tapered shape, and covering the cabin inside of the window frame 20; an insertion part 16 provided projecting at the upper end 12 of the garnish 10; and a hole 25 provided in the window frame 20 to mount the upper end 12 of the garnish 10 to the window frame 20 by inserting the insertion part 16 therein.
