The wheel (10) has an outer ring (14) arranged on a side of a crankshaft of an internal combustion engine, and an inner ring (12) arranged on a side of a starter. A coupling element couples the outer and inner rings and is formed as a rope (16) or a belt. The rope or the belt is connected with the outer and inner rings by pins (18, 19) or a spring (20). The outer ring and a flywheel of the crankshaft are integrally formed, and the inner ring is coupled with a pinion of the starter by a gear rim (22).
