<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of producing hydrogen capable of generating hydrogen simply, efficiently and stably and to provide a hydrogen producing apparatus using the method. <P>SOLUTION: The method of producing hydrogen in which hydrogen is produced by supplying water to a hydrogen generating material including metal material which generates hydrogen according to hydrothermal reaction with water comprises: a process (1) of supplying water to the hydrogen generating material while controlling the supply amount of water; a process (2) of stopping the supply of water successively after the process (1); and a process (3) of detecting the hydrogen generation amount generated from the stage at which the process (1) is started, calculating the water consumption amount corresponding to the hydrogen generation amount and supplying water of the same amount as the water consumption amount to the hydrogen generating material after stopping water supply. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
