<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surgical stapling apparatus with an articulation mechanism used for an endoscopic surgical stapling apparatus which sequentially applies a plurality of surgical fasteners to body tissue and selectively incises tissue closed by the fasteners. <P>SOLUTION: The surgical stapling apparatus includes a housing 36, a movable handle 24 supported by the housing 36, an elongated body 14 extended in the distal end direction from the housing 36 to configure a longitudinal direction axis line, an operation shaft at least a part of which is supported within the housing 36, a loading unit 16 supported by the distal end of the elongated body 14, and an articulation movement mechanism with a lever 40 cam member. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
