<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transportable plastic recovery system. <P>SOLUTION: The transportable plastic recovery system includes a separating and pulverizing device arranged so as to recover plastic from durable consumer goods. One aspect of the invention relates to a method and a system providing the transportable system for separating the material in a waste stream. The separating and pulverizing device is attached to a transportable platform. These devices are constituted and arranged so as to generate three or more kinds of product streams from a plastic-rich supply mixture.
