<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coupling for tubular elements capable of easily removing air. <P>SOLUTION: In the coupling for tubular elements with at least one plug 52 and one socket 54, the plug 52 can be inserted into the socket 54 and can be locked therein. Both the plug 52 and the socket 54 have a fluid channel 58 extending approximately along the longitudinal axis. The channel 58 relates to the coupling for tubular elements constituted in such a way that the fluid can be flowed through the coupling 50 in a locked state. The plug 52 can be locked in the socket 54 in at least two locked positions, and the socket 54 and/or the plug 52 has at least one opening 68. The opening 68 connects the fluid channel 58 to the outside in a first locked position, and the fluid channel 58 is isolated from the outside in a second locked position.
