<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a projection device equipped with an optical compensation sheet, for always and stably projecting a uniform image, and to provide a liquid crystal panel unit used for the projection device. <P>SOLUTION: The projection device includes: a liquid crystal panel 7 where liquid crystal molecules to be irradiated with light emitted from a light source 35 are enclosed; a polarizing plate 73 disposed in a position opposite to the liquid crystal panel 7; and the optical compensation sheet 8 arranged between the polarizing plate 73 and the liquid crystal panel 7, for compensating for the birefringence of the liquid crystal molecules. The optical compensation sheet 8 is arranged in a rotating member 50, and the rotating member 50 is configured to freely adjust the inclination with respect to an optical axis L through pieces attached to the rotating member 50, and also, the pieces are held after adjusting the inclination. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
