<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and method for disinfecting grain seeds, capable of disinfecting the grain seeds simply in a short time and reducing effects on the environment. <P>SOLUTION: The device for disinfecting the grain seeds is equipped with a ring burner 18 for forming a high-temperature space and grain seed-conveying means (12, 14, 16) for passing through the grain seeds in the high temperature space. The device sets at least one of the passing speed of the grain seeds, temperature of the high-temperature space and dimension of the high-temperature space related to the passing through direction of the grain seeds based on the germination rate of the grain seeds after passing through the high-temperature space and the disinfection rate of the grain seeds after passing through the high-temperature space. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
