<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new rare metal extractant which can extract rare metals, in particularly palladium, with high efficiency. <P>SOLUTION: The rare metal extractant contains a cyclic phenol sulfide derivative expressed by general formula (1), wherein R<SP>1</SP>, R<SP>2</SP>and R<SP>3</SP>respectively and independently denote a hydrogen atom or a 1-10C hydrocarbon group and Z denotes any among a sulfide group, a sulfinyl group and a sulfonyl group. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
