<p>The present invention relates to carpet paints comprising a base paint, an elastomeric acrylic polymer, and a fluorocarbon additive. The present invention also relates to methods for paining carpets so as to achieve a uniform, even distribution of colour across the surface of said carpet; wherein said methods typically involve: providing a carpet; providing one or more carpet paints (comprising a base paint, an elastomeric acrylic polymer, and a fluorocarbon additive); selecting said one or more carpet paints; premixing said one or more carpet paints; adding said one or more paints to a paint sprayer; placing the tip of the said paint sprayer towards the carpet; spraying the carpet with the said one or more paints; and brushing the said one or more sprayed paints into the carpet.</p> |
