<p>Provided is a frequency conversion element capable of supporting both an Si-system MMIC and a GaAs-system MMIC by using a magnetoresistance element. The element is provided with the frequency conversion element comprising the magnetoresistance element provided with a magnetization free layer, an interlayer, and a magnetization fixed layer, a magnetic field application mechanism for applying a magnetic field to the frequency conversion element, a local oscillator for applying a local oscillation signal to the frequency conversion element, and an input terminal which is electrically connected to the frequency conversion element and which is adapted to input an external input signal.</p> |
