<p>Provided is a method for manufacturing an optical fiber wire, wherein a cooling apparatus and a coating apparatus are connected in an airtight manner, a cooling gas flow to the side of the coating apparatus in the cooling apparatus is shut by means of a resin meniscus in the coating apparatus. Thereby, the flow quantity of the cooling gas is adjusted by releasing the cooling gas to the outside from the upper end of the cooling apparatus by making the flow of the cooling gas upward flow in the cooling apparatus, and the temperature of the cooling gas is increased toward the upper portion of the cooling apparatus from the lower portion thereof.</p> |
