<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an original plate of an on-machine development type lithographic printing plate which is capable of recording an image under laser exposure and has excellent on-machine development properties and resistance to plate wear. <P>SOLUTION: This original plate of the lithographic printing plate is composed of an image recording layer and an overcoat layer formed on a support in this order. The image recording layer contains (A) a polymerizable compound represented by formula (1), (B) polymer microparticles containing a structural unit represented by formula (2) and a structural unit represented by formula (3), (C) an infrared absorbent, and (D) a polymerization initiator, and can be removed by a printing ink, damping water, or both of them. The overcoat layer contains an inorganic lamellar compound. In the formulae, A is a group containing 1 to 3 ethylenic unsaturated groups, L is a 5 to 9C alkylene, R is an alkyl group etc., D is a single bond or a -COO- group, and R<SB>1</SB>and R<SB>2</SB>are a hydrogen atom etc. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
