PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To determine whether maintenance is required, according to the operating state of a component-mounting apparatus.

SOLUTION: A necessity determining part 161 of a control part 150 calculates a corrective value which is multiplied by an action frequency of action attribute and a reference value for determining effectiveness of maintenance based on the effectiveness of maintenance performed in the past, and a value obtained by multiplying the action frequency for each action attribute of one component by a corrective value, corresponding to the action attribute is calculated for each action attribute for summation; and if the total value is equal to the calculated reference value or higher, the component is determined as requiring maintenance.
