<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a streaming distribution system, a transmitting apparatus, relay apparatus, receiving apparatus, method, program and recording medium for suppressing playback from becoming stagnant, even if the receiving apparatus is moved. <P>SOLUTION: In a streaming distribution system where a transmitting apparatus, a receiving apparatus and a plurality of relay apparatuses are connected over a network, the receiving apparatus monitors radio wave intensity in a connection with any relay apparatus; and if the radio wave intensity is decreased gradually, the transmitting apparatus is notified of a communication area change. When the communication area change notification is received during stream transmission, the transmitting apparatus determines, from the plurality of relay apparatus, a new connection destination relay apparatus forecasted to be connected next for relaying stream transmission with movement of the receiving apparatus. If the receiving apparatus having identification information matched with receiving apparatus identification information that a stream previously transmitted from the transmitting apparatus has is connected, the relay apparatus transmits the stream to the receiving apparatus. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
