PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power supply control device, which has sleep mode, and protects an energization path properly/. SOLUTION: The power supply control device is provided with: a switching circuit that is installed between a power source and the energization path and switches whether to allow or prohibit power supply from the power source to a load, an energization path protection circuit, and a sleep mode setting circuit. The energization path protection circuit controls switching of the switching circuit according to an energization instruction signal (input SW signal) that gives an instruction to start or end the energization of the load, and also calculates the temperature Tw of the energization path regardless of whether the load is energized, and when the calculated temperature Tw of the energization path, which is not calculated in sleep mode, reaches a predetermined upper limit value of Tsm, prohibits energization by the switching circuit. The sleep mode setting circuit sets the power supply control device in sleep mode when the temperature Tw of the energization path satisfies a predetermined temperature condition.
