PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a thermoplastic resin material for automotive fuel parts which has excellent resistance to fuel permeability and impact resistance and further excellent durability and safety. SOLUTION: The thermoplastic resin material for automotive fuel parts which combines mechanically strong toughness and the resistance to fuel permeability, both required for a fuel parts, is obtained by blending a specific polyester resin excellent in the resistance to fuel permeability in a specific quantity to a polyamide-based resin having excellent flexibility, heat resistance, gasoline resistance and impact resistance and thereby the fuel parts are made up from the same single base material. The resin composition for fuel parts is characterized in that the mechanical properties and resistance to fuel permeability are improved by melting and mixing a polyamide-based resin and a polyester resin with a specific compatibilizer.
