摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular lockup clutch controller preventing drivability from degrading at shift transmission. SOLUTION: When making the transition from a completely engaged state or slip engaged state of a lockup clutch to a released state thereof at shift transmission of an automatic transmission, this controller performs variable control of an off-sweep rate based on a speed ratio e of the torque converter at that time from the preset relationship, with regard to the off-sweep control of a linear solenoid valve SLU relating to lockup control or flex lockup control. Therefore, when making the transition from a lockup region or a flex lockup region at upshift transmission to a torque converter region (a release region), the discomfort of drivability resulting from a variation in engine revolution speed can be suitably eliminated.
