PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a discharge valve for allowing easy determination of whether caulking work is done well or not with visual inspection without using a measuring tool such as a caliper, and to provide a compression machine equipped therewith. SOLUTION: The discharge valve 10 includes a leaf spring shaped valve element 18 provided on a valve seat 12 for opening/closing a discharge port 14 of the valve seat 12, and a valve presser 20 provided on the upper face of the valve element 18, the valve element 18 and the valve presser 20 being caulked and fixed to the valve seat 12 with one rivet 26. On a caulked face 20a of the valve presser 20, there is provided at least one of a mark 32a which shows an upper limit of the predetermined outer diameter of a caulking head of the rivet 26 and a mark 32b which shows a lower limit thereof.
