PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rope hooking structure for a crane capable of automatically adjusting rope tension at skew action of a spreader (hanging unit). SOLUTION: The link type rope tension automatic adjustment mechanism 100 is provided, in which a pair of left and right rope operation plates 124, 125 is pivotally supported on a trolley such that it becomes parallel to a drum 16, a pair of two ropes 78, 74 or 73, 77 arranged on a rope winding virtual surface supposed on an end part of a lateral direction of the hanging unit 8 is attached to front end parts of the respective rope operation plates 124, 125, and mutual rear end parts of the respective rope operation plates 124, 125 are connected to each other by a connection member 127.
