PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the rigidity of a roof panel by reinforcing the outer periphery of an opening of an inner panel with a projecting part. SOLUTION: The roof panel for the vehicle has a translucent window 7 formed in a resin outer panel 3. A resin inner panel 13 arranged on the back side of the outer panel 3 is formed with an opening 15 so as to overlap with the window 7 of the outer panel 3, and provided with the projecting part 17 surrounding the opening 15 from the outside. The outer panel 3 and inner panel 13 having the projecting part 17 at the outer peripheral edge are joined so that the respective outer peripheral edges abut on each other, and in this state, the projecting part 17 abuts on the outer peripheral edge of the window 7.
