<p>Brake fluid pressure which a slave cylinder (23) electrically generates according to the amount of operation of a brake pedal (12) is supplied to wheel cylinders (16, 17; 20, 21) provided in respective wheels via a VSA device (24), and thus smooth braking by the wheel cylinders (16, 17; 20, 21) can be enabled by the brake fluid pressure with no pulsation which has been pressurized by the slave cylinder (23). When the VSA device (24) individually controls brake fluid pressures to be supplied to the respective wheel cylinders (16, 17; 20, 21) in order to control the behavior of a vehicle, the slave cylinder (23) can generate the brake fluid pressure corresponding to the sum of brake fluid pressures requested by the respective wheel cylinders (16, 17; 20, 21), and thus just enough brake fluid pressure can be generated by the slave cylinder (23).</p> |
