A battery (13) provides emergency power supply to the motor control with the motor during power failure. The battery is charged via a charge controller (9) during start-up time of the power supply. A switched controller (56) controls a terminal voltage of the battery. A motor relay (48) includes a contact (50) for controlling the motor control during power failure.
