<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a desulfurization apparatus and a fuel cell system reducing the starting time while suppressing a hunting phenomenon. <P>SOLUTION: The fuel cell system 1 includes a reformer 2, a desulfurization apparatus 3 and a fuel cell stack 4. The desulfurization apparatus 3 includes a desulfurizer 7 housing a desulfurization catalyst that removes a sulfur content from a liquid fuel, a heater 8 for heating the liquid fuel in the desulfurizer 7, a thermometer 13 for measuring the temperature of the desulfurization catalyst in the desulfurizer 7, a power supply 9 applying a voltage to the heater 8, and a control unit 15 controlling the power supply 9. The control unit 15 controls the power supply 9 to apply 200 V voltage to the heater 8 after starting to operate until the temperature measured by the thermometer 13 first reaches the target temperature of normal operation, and controls the power supply 9, after the temperature measured by the thermometer 13 first reaches the target temperature of normal operation, to apply 100 V voltage to the heater 8. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
