<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily surely fix a reinforcing plate to a metallic separator and efficiently assemble a fuel battery. <P>SOLUTION: A power generation cell 12 constituting a fuel battery 10 includes an electrolyte membrane, an electrode structure 14, a first metallic separator 16 and a second metallic separator 18. The second metallic separator 18 includes connecting passage portions 60a, 60b communicating an oxidant gas passage 54 with an oxidant gas inlet communication hole 20a and an oxidant gas outlet communicating hole 20b. The connecting passage portions 60a, 60b include a plurality of grooves 62a, 62b formed in the second metallic separator 18, and reinforcing plates 64a, 64b covering the grooves 62a, 62b, and the reinforcing plates 64a, 64b are fixed to the second metallic separator 18 with caulking parts 66a, 66b. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
