<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal transfer sheet which shows high transfer sensitivity in a thermal transfer print, obtains a high density print in high speed printing, shows excellent stability during storage, and can preferably prevent a generation of a so-called kickback. <P>SOLUTION: In the thermal transfer sheet having a dye layer formed on one surface of a base material, the dye layer contains as a binder resin at least one kind of a cellulose-based resin selected from a group consisting of cellulose acetate propionate (CAP) and cellulose acetate butylate (CAB), and at least one second resin component selected from a group consisting of vinyl chloride-vinyl acetate copolymer and polyester urethane. The cellulose-based resin has a number average molecular weight of not less than 25,000, and the content of the dye layer in the binder resin is 50-90 mass%. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
