<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To quickly determine a failure of the first vehicle detector. <P>SOLUTION: The vehicle detector includes a vehicle management part 10 including: an allocation counter 14 to be added every time a traveling process of a vehicle 50 is detected when the location of a vehicle 50 is detected by vehicle detectors S1 to S5; and an non-allocation counter 15 to be added every time the vehicle 50 is detected by the other vehicle detectors S2 to S5 while stop of the vehicle 50 is detected by the vehicle detector S1. When there are M (M is a natural number equal to or less than N)vehicle detectors S1 to S5 which detect the vehicle 50 is M during a period from when the vehicle 50 is detected by the vehicle detectors S2 to when the vehicle 50 is not detected by any of the vehicle detectors S1 to S5, the allocation counter 14 and the non-allocation counter 15 are reset when the count value of the allocation counter 14 reaches M, and determines, when the count value of the non-allocation counter 15 reaches a predetermined threshold, that the vehicle detector S1 is abnormal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
