<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a turbine blade assembly with thermal insulation. <P>SOLUTION: The turbine blade assembly includes a spar (60) with a plurality of raised ribs (62), a spacer (70) with a plurality of protruding portions (72) mounted around the spar, and an outer shell (80) mounted around the spacer. The protruding portions (72) on the spacer surround the raised ribs (62) on the spar.
