<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safe light source device using a laser diode, and a compact and thin projector including the light source device. <P>SOLUTION: The projector includes a light source device 63, a light guide device 75, a display element, a projection side optical system, and a projector control means. The light source device 63 includes a light source 72 which emits a laser beam of a blue wavelength band, a light emitting wheel 71 disposed on an optical axis of the light source 72, and a wheel motor 73 for driving to rotate the light emitting wheel 71. The light emitting wheel 71 is formed of a circular substrate having a diffusion layer on one predetermined surface, and the diffusion layer is made minute ruggedness formed directly on a surface of the circular substrate. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
