<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide cable penetration for improving workability while reducing a range where peripherals in an electrical cable penetration part are removed when a new cable is installed, and to provide a method of installing the cable penetration. <P>SOLUTION: First cable penetration 10A includes: a support 19A including a plurality of hold sections 18 for holding a cable section 7 passing through a vessel 1 in a sleeve 2, a cover 14 for covering the periphery between one hold section 18 of the support 19A and another hold section 18 of the support 19A, and a cable support module unit 11A in which a plurality of cable support modules 13A configured by fixing the cover 14 to the support 19A are connected.
