PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a prize counter, counting prizes, not by hand, and to provide a prize management system including the prize counter. SOLUTION: In this prize management system, the independently provided prize counter 150 automatically counts the prizes 2 of a cassette 4 loaded on a loading part 156 by a counting part 30, so that the prizes 2 can be counted, not by hand. In the prize counter 150, a communicating part 162 transmits counting data including the result of counting the prizes 2 by the counting part 30 to an external apparatus (a prize put-out machine 1 and a prize management machine 100), so that the external apparatus can smoothly mange the prizes 2 based on the transmitted counting data.
