PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating device that can confirm discharge states of inks at head modules. SOLUTION: The coating device includes: a plurality of the head modules 4 each having a head 7 for discharging ink; a sub tank 8 for storing the inks supplied to the head modules 4; a pressure sensor 15 for measuring the pressure of ink in each of the head modules 4; an electropneumatic regulator 17 for controlling the pressure of ink in each of the head modules 4; and a management means 31 for acquiring a measurement value of the pressure sensor 15 and detecting the discharge states of inks in the head modules 4 based on the measurement value.
