PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image correlation device which enables to suitable execute of image retrieval paying attention to color information. SOLUTION: With respect to an objective image input from an objective image input part 11, and a compared image stored in a comparison object database 12, an object chromaticity image and a comparison chromaticity image where chromaticity distribution within the images are histogrammed on a chromaticity diagram are prepared respectively. Using a retrieval image in which the object chromaticity image and the comparison chromaticity image are arranged side by side, an optical correlation operation device 30 performs optical correlation operation by a JTC method, and correlation data to which operation by a differential operation part 62 is added are acquired.
