PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photoelectric smoke sensor capable of preventing an erroneous alarm from being issued, even if steam flows into a smoke-detecting unit. SOLUTION: The smoke-detecting unit 1 includes an installation section 20; and a smoke inlet section 10 arranged so as to be overlapped under the installation section 20. The installation section 20 includes: a light-emitting element 22 for emitting the inside of the installation section 20 with light; and a light-receiving element 23 for receiving light emitted from the light-emitting element 22 and scattered by smoke particles of the smoke-detecting unit 1. The smoke inlet section 10 includes a partition wall 11, having an opening 13 for communicating with the installation section 20; a plurality of wall members 12 erected from a lower surface of the partition wall 11 down below, for preventing external light from entering the smoke inlet section 10; and a smoke inlet 14 formed between the wall members 12. The lower surface of the partition wall 11 forming the wall members 12 constitutes an inclined surface 13a, which inclines upward as approaching the opening 13 so as to make the smoke flowing into the smoke inlet section 10 flow along the opening 13 into the installation section 20.
