PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscope system for easily and quickly taking measures against the influence of an earthquake appropriately in advance when the earthquake occurs and it receives its influence. SOLUTION: The endoscope system 1 includes a processor 3, a scope 2, and a monitor 5. When an earthquake occurs and vibrations by P wave are detected by a seismometer 110, Meteorological Agency 100 obtains earthquake information, such as predicted arrival time and predicted seismic intensity in each place, on the basis of a detection result and distributes urgent earthquake quick report including the earthquake information. A distributer 200 receives the urgent earthquake quick report, specifies earthquake information of a district where a medical institution 300 is located, and distributes the urgent earthquake quick report including the earthquake information to the medical institution 300. In the endoscope system 1, when the urgent earthquake quick report is received, display information including predicted arrival time and predicted seismic intensity is created on the basis of predicted arrival time information and predicted seismic information and is displayed on a monitor 5.
