PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To alleviate a load of embedding work for a blade material of a punching die and to correctly perform the embedding of the blade material. SOLUTION: In the punching die in which a root portion of the blade material 6 is punched and embedded into a through groove 4 penetrated in a plate material 3 having flat upper and lower surfaces, the through groove 4 is penetrated in the vertical direction with respect to the lower surface of the plate material 3, and a reference line 8 is displayed on a blade material 6 surface between a blade part 6a and the root part 6b thereof, the reference line 8 being displayed parallel to a blade edge line of the blade material 6.
