DATA TRANSFER SYSTEM, CLIENT PC, METHOD, AND PROGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To guarantee a data broadcast operation by compressing a data broadcast band while giving priority to AV in a distributing system for data broadcast by a local area network whose band is limited.

SOLUTION: A data transfer system includes a server having a tuner for data broadcast and a client PC having a reception control unit for controlling data broadcast reception from the server and a content executing unit for executing data broadcast content, wherein the reception control unit transfers an update notification of the content to the content executing unit after waiting for termination of content transfer in order to avoid time-out due to a transfer delay of the data broadcast content.
