<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a viewing and listening channel determination system capable of determining a viewing and listening channel with accuracy. <P>SOLUTION: A terminal apparatus 2, connected to a television receiver serving as a determination target of a viewing and listening channel, transmits comparison data including an audio signal format and feature data of a digital audio signal outputted from a digital audio output terminal of the television receiver, and time information, to a center apparatus 4 through a network 3. The center apparatus 4 stores the received comparison data in a comparison data-storing part 41. A reference data-storing part 43 stores reference data including the feature data extracted from the audio signal in the audio signal format of the channel, the time data, and the audio signal format, for every channel to which the viewing and listening determination is carried out and for every audio signal format. The viewing and listening determination processor 44 compares the comparison data stored in the comparison data-storing part 41 with the reference data for every channel stored in the reference data-storing part 43 to determine the viewing and listening channel. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
