<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable full pixel read and pixel addition read and further, to improve the S/N ratio. <P>SOLUTION: At the light-incident side of each of a plurality of photodiodes PD, any one of a plurality of color filters forming a predetermined color array is disposed. For each of two or more photodiodes in which color filters of the same color are disposed, among the plurality of photodiodes PD, one amplification transistor AMP is provided, in common with the two or more photodiodes PD. For each of the two or more photodiodes PD, two or more transfer transistors T are provided individually, corresponding to each of the two or more photodiodes PD.
