PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chair and a chair system that can easily and inexpensively have the usage status of user's chair while preventing a detection error. SOLUTION: A seating sensor 18, outputting a seating status or a seat-leaving status by measuring the capacitance between detection electrodes 13 and comparing the measured value with the preset value of the capacitance, includes a memory means 21 to memorize the output of the seating sensor 18 to memorize the seating status and the seat-leaving status in the memory means 21.
