PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an alarm device of an induction melting furnace capable of detecting a change in a furnace wall with a high degree of accuracy, and improving safety. SOLUTION: A controller 10 corrects an alarm threshold value (STEP 23) when the mass of a heated material Y measured by a load cell 8 is below a rated threshold value. Moreover, the controller 10 calculates a load impedance R (STEP 26) on condition that the temperature of the heated material Y measured by a thermometer 9 is equal to or greater than a temperature threshold value higher than the melting temperature of the heated material Y (STEP 25). Then, when the calculated load impedance R is equal to or exceeds the alarm threshold value (STEP 27, 28), the controller outputs an alarm (STEP 31, 32). COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
