PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To unlock a thumb-turn to which a push button for a lock means is provided. SOLUTION: This opener includes a generally U-shaped frame part 10, a linear material 15 inserted into the frame part 10, an operation part 16 and the linear material 15 which are provided to the base end of the linear material 15, and a thumb-turn holding part 20 provided to the front end of the frame part 10. The center portion of the frame part 10 is extensible in the longitudinal direction. The thumb-turn holding part 20 is formed of two spring plates 21. When the operation part 16 is rotated, the thumb-turn holding part 20 is also rotated. The push buttons on both sides of the thumb-turn can be held pressingly held by the thumb-turn holding part 20 at the front end by inserting the thumb-turn holding part 20 at the front end to the inside of a door through the hole part of the door scope of the door.
