PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary electric machine with a liquid cooling mechanism that is structured so that a coolant may permeate to more sections of a coil. SOLUTION: A stator 3 of a motor 1 includes a stator core 33, a bobbin (34A and 34B), and a coil 35. The bobbin includes bobbin parts 34A and 34B which are mounted to sandwich the stator core 33. The bobbin member 34A includes a bobbin center 51, an inner vane 52, and an outer vane 53. The outer vane 53 has a supply hole 50 which radially pierces the motor 1. A stator 2 is so structured as to supply a coolant to the supply hole 50 in the outer vane 52. To the bobbin member 34A, a coil cover 34C which covers the opposite side of the coil 35 across the stator core 33 is mounted so that the supply hole 50 in the outer vane 53 may be positioned between the coil cover 34C and the bobbin center 51.
